Tube and Sheet drill HSS-XE, TIN-Gold coated spiral-fluted – 2 cutting d=5-31mm

The Karnasch Professional tube and sheet drill made of HSS-XE steel + TiN-GOLD coating and straight fluted with split point Karnasch TUBE AND SHEET DRILLS are a low price alternative to STEP DRILLS. Tube and sheet drills are designed to drill slightly conical holes in sheet metal of an thickness up to 4 mm (5/32″). The holes are deburred on both sides by the paring cut. This versatile tool combines several drills with diameters of 5 – 31 mm (3/16″ – 1.1/4″). The radius transition simultaneously bezels or deburrs the bore holes. The drills are axial-radially relief grounded and can be resharpened at the tooth face. HSS-XE steel + TiN-GOLD-coated Made of high-alloyed special steel XE for considerably longer service life than HSS-Steel. TiN-GOLD-coating for a further substantial increase in service life also when machining dry (no/little cooling). Flute 1 is marked with metric diameters.
Flute 2 is marked with inch diameters. The CBN ground and spiral flutes guarantee smooth running and high cutting performance. The chip flow is optimized and removed easily as with a twist drill. 3-Flat shank for:
